Griffin Goldsmith was born in Lower Manhattan in 1992. He studied design in San Francisco (CCA) and spent one semester in Paris (ENSCI). Griffin is learning about making all things + sharing his insights through designed artifacts. He picked up some professional experience as a junior designer at MostModest in South San Francsico, and as an intern for Stephen Burks in New York. He is currently a product designer at the architecture and interiors firm, Workshop/apd.
Using furniture glides as an inspiration, this bench utilizes plastic spacers to connect three blackened steel panels. The bench also features asymmetric upholstery that transforms one of the leafs into a side table.
